THEATRE FOR LIVING

šxʷʔamət (home) is an interactive play, created & performed by a mixed Indigenous and non-Indigenous cast, that weaves three threads together into a series of beautifully overlapping scenes in which the characters fail at various forms of the work required to make Reconciliation true and honourable. DEMOCRACY TALKS 2.0

Democracy Talks 2.0 was a project of North York Community House. They worked with newcomers and refugees in Toronto through a series of experiential adult education workshops and practicum activities connecting their lived experiences within the context of democracy in Canada.
