Seeking Committee Resource Persons for The Catherine Donnelly Foundation

1. Investment Committee Resource Person
We are seeking individuals with expertise in the ESG investment/impact investing who also have a combination of some of the following experiences:

• Working with Indigenous communities and/or lived experience
• Working with newcomers and/or lived experience
• Knowledge of work in a faith-based organization

2. Civic Engagement for Social Change Committee Resource Person
We are seeking individuals with expertise in the civic engagement for social change sector who also have a combination of some of the following experiences. Ideally, candidates for this role would come from outside of Ontario:

• Working with Indigenous communities and/or lived experience
• Civic engagement for social change
• Working with newcomers and/or lived experience
• Knowledge of work in a faith-based organization

3. Environment Committee Resource Person
We are seeking individuals with expertise and connections in the climate justice and environment space who also have a combination of some of the following experiences. Ideally, candidates for this role would come from the West (Alberta, British Columbia):

• Working with Indigenous communities and/or lived experience
• Environment and climate justice
• Working with newcomers and/or lived experience
• Knowledge of work in a faith-based organization

We encourage diverse candidates – Black, Indigenous and People of Colour – as well as newcomers to apply. We also seek younger candidates (45 years or less).

Committee Resource Persons Commitment: The CDF Foundation committees meet a few times a year virtually via Zoom, 1-2 meetings in the spring and 1-2 meetings in the fall. On occasion, there may be opportunity to attend virtual or in-person in Toronto for CDF events. Committee Resource Persons dedicate approximately 4-6 days/year to the Foundation’s work.

The CDF board, staff and grantees are people of varied religious faith, or no specific faith.
