Philanthropic Community’s Declaration of Action

Mary Corkery, Board Chair and Valerie Lemieux, General Director were pleased on behalf of the Catherine Donnelly Foundation to finally put “pen to paper” earlier this month. The Declaration is a call to action inviting others to join in moving forward in an atmosphere of understanding, dignity and respect towards the shared goal of reconciliation. The Foundation was pleased to sign electronically in the spring of 2015 and to reaffirm our commitment at a PFC meeting highlighting the history of the Declaration and what further actions the philanthropic community could engage in to further reconciliation in Canada.
